Concept-to-completion shopping centre construction. Shops, entertainment, supermarkets, and facilities communities love.

Capable, full-scope retail builders

We’re renowned for our concept-to-completion project delivery and construction capability. With every turnkey shopping centre construction job, Grounded’s capable team handles the entire scope. Site preparation, civil works, retail buildings, supermarkets and more. All managed by professionals who deeply understand your timelines and goals.

Our shopping centre construction services include:

Turnkey capability

Civil works, structural builds, prefabricated concrete, cranage, heavy haulage and commissioning. Our civil, construction and logistics teams run under a single contract with one project manager coordinating the full programme, removing the interface risk that comes with managing separate contractors across a complex scope.

At Eaton Fair, that covered 12,500m² of suspended concrete carpark with specialist mix, external power upgrades and diversions, and full integration into the existing centre.

Staged delivery around a live centre

Shopping centre expansions run alongside an operating centre. Tenants keep trading, customers keep arriving, and your programme needs to account for both. We sequence construction phasing, access management, hoarding and temporary services so the existing centre continues to operate while the new build progresses.

That coordination sits with a single project manager who understands the full scope, keeping construction activity and public movement separated throughout the programme.

"We've used Grounded Construction Group as a subcontractor to install temporary site amenities on remote mine sites. They are professional, on time, on budget, and provide a high level of customer service."

Paul Isaac

General Manager Operations, GCS Hire Pty Ltd

We hired Grounded to plan and construct our Paris Grove Accommodation Village in Australind, WA. Market conditions for lithium created multiple challenges, which could have derailed the project. Despite swings & roundabouts, the team at Grounded partnered with Albemarle Corporation to deliver a best-in-class project in the Southwest Region of Australia. Feedback from our guests has been overwhelming, reinforcing our collective vision to develop an industry-leading experience for a construction workforce. Paul's Team was the perfect partner for Albemarle! I recommend them without hesitation or reservation for your project.

Josh Rowan

VP - Project Execution, Albemarle
