13 Years of Grounded: building tomorrow, together
This month, Grounded celebrates 13 years in business.
When Grounded began, the vision was clear: bring together a specialised team of professionals with unrivalled skill and experience, and build long-standing relationships through the delivery of robust, reliable infrastructure.
Thirteen years later, that vision still guides everything we do. From modular villages and worker accommodation to non-process infrastructure and commercial precincts, our work has taken us across Western Australia and beyond.
Built on our people
At the heart of Grounded is a strong core team, the Grounded family, who push and deliver every day. We share the wins and we work through the challenges together. That’s what makes us who we are.

13 years is not a small achievement. None of it would have been possible without the amazing team backing me. My goal has always been to a make a difference, and that’s what we will continue to do. Pushing ourselves, challenging what is possible, and looking ahead to what is next. We’re not done yet!

Hear from our People

Now in my fourth year as the CFO of The Grounded Group, I am exceptionally proud of the team we have built.
We share a resolve to continue to grow Grounded into the regional builder of choice throughout Australia.
I have really enjoyed our expansion journey, moving into large scale mining projects and diversifying into major retail and commercial builds.
The next chapter of growth is hugely exciting as we bring our first build-own-operate asset to market in the coming months.
Julian Wilmot-Barr – Chief Financial Officer
I’ve been with Paul since 2017 and have really enjoyed the journey. It’s a great company to work for, with a supportive team, a positive work environment, and a culture that makes coming to work enjoyable every day.
– Donny, Construction Manager

I love a challenge, and that’s one of the things I love most about working at Grounded.
We’re builders, and we’re not afraid of the big, complicated or logistically challenging projects. Some of the places we work and the challenges we take on are not easy. Whether it’s building in remote locations, working through complex logistics or taking on a project that others might see as too difficult, there’s a real attitude at Grounded of “we can do this”.
That’s what makes working at Grounded exciting. You’re not just turning up to do a job. You’re part of a team. We have big ambitions, we take on big challenges, and we genuinely believe in our people.
